This paper is on advanced image processing and fractal analysis of cardiac magnetic resonance. It was one of my first research projects at Barts. In the paper, we explain the development and validation of the first semi-automated freely available tool to quantify myocardial trabeculation using pixel density analysis and fractal geometry.
